NABC Release

(KANSAS CITY, MO)---There were no changes at the very top of the NABC/Division II Coaches Poll this week – Findlay and South Carolina remain in the top two positions – but Central Oklahoma has vaulted the Bronchos to the third spot in this week’s poll after tying the best start in school history.
Central Oklahoma is off to a 7-0 start and moved up three spots this week to No. 3, going past Augusta State who stayed in fourth after being idle last week. Southwest Baptist (5-0) also moved into the top five as losses by Florida Southern and Northern Kentucky knocked both out of the top half of the rankings.
Gannon and Grand Valley State also made two-spot jumps this week to sixth and seventh, respectively, while Minnesota State moved back to the No. 8 spot that it held in the pre-season poll. Two newcomers also inhabit the Top 10 this week, as Brigham Young-Hawaii is ranked ninth and LIU-C.W. Post is at No. 10 as it returns to action this week.
North Alabama heads up the second 10 in the poll, followed by Kentucky Wesleyan, Bentley, Catawba and Pittsburgh-Johnstown. Pitt Johnstown’s one-point loss at Shippensburg Monday is not reflected in this week’s poll as only the results through Sunday’s action are considered in the weekly poll. The #15 Mountain Cats are the lone WVIAC squad in this week's poll, but Fairmont State and West Liberty rank among schools receiving votes.
This week’s newcomers to the poll include Central Missouri (No. 22), Arkansas-Monticello (No.23) and Saint Martin’s (No. 25). The complete poll follows:
