Aden Claims Second Straight WVIAC Weekly Women's Basketball Honor

Women's Basketball Player of the Week (1/12-1/18):

   
---Sheena Aden, Pitt Johnstown, 5-7, Soph., G, Sandy Lake, PA:  Aden played a key role as Pitt Johnstown remained unbeaten in league play and ran their winning streak to eight games with wins over West Virginia Wesleyan, Davis & Elkins, and Alderson-Broaddus last week...The sophomore guard averaged 22.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game in the three wins...Aden poured in 27 points in the 72-70 win at West Virginia Wesleyan, including a pair of free game-winning free throws...She also tallied 20 points in the win over Davis & Elkins and 19 in the triumph against Alderson-Broaddus...The Sandy Lake, PA native hit on a sizzling 71.4% (25-35) of her field goal attempts for the week.
