Campanelli, Edwards Lead WVIAC Runners At Atlantic Region XC Meet

(MANSFIELD, PA)---Wheeling Jesuit junior Sarah Campanelli scored an 11th place finish for the top placement by a WVIAC athlete at the NCAA Division II Atlantic Cross Country Regionals in Mansfield, PA.
Campanelli completed the 6K course at Lamb's Creek Park in a time of 22:04. Alderson-Broaddus' Ashley Teets was 15th with a 22:13 time.
West Virginia Wesleyan's Nate Edwards finished 27th with a 10K time of 32:53 for the best WVIAC effort on the men's side. Seton Hill freshman Dominic Camasso, the victor at the WVIAC Championships, was five spots back in 32nd with a 33:03 time.
Wesleyan also got top 50 efforts from Barry Franklin and Caleb Withers to place a conference-best 11th as a team on the men's side. Wheeling Jesuit placed 14th to top league women's teams.
