Women's Track Athletes of the Week:
Shawnee Carnett, Concord, Fr. for the second straight week earns a share of the WVIAC Track Athlete of the Week honor after strong performances at East Tennessee State and Marietta this past weekend. Carnett placed 10th in the 800m at East Tennessee State with a time of 2:21.04 and then finished up her weekend at Marietta placing 2nd in the 200m (27.32), 2nd in the 400m (59.74) setting a new school record, and anchored the 4x400m relay team to a 2nd place finish (4:10.95).
Chelsea Cavanaugh, Seton Hill, Fr. also earned a share of the WVIAC Track Athlete of the Week honor and her second of the season with her performance at Robert Morris. Cavanaugh finished 1st in the 500m dash with a time of 1:21.13, 3rd in the 300m (45.29) and anchored the 4x400m relay team to a 2nd place finish with a time of 4:19.30.
Women's Field Athlete of the Week:
Megan Pratt, Wheeling Jesuit, r-Jr. was unanimously chosen by the WVIAC Track and Field Coaches after a NCAA qualifying weekend at the Albany Great Dane Classic. Pratt threw a NCAA Provisional mark in the Weight Throw with a distance of 16.28m (53’5”) good enough for 5th place in the competition. The mark ranks Pratt 16th in NCAA Division II.

Men's Track Athlete of the Week:
Travis Hamrick, Wheeling Jesuit, Jr. finished 8th at the Albany Great Dane Classic in the 800m setting a new school record of 1:55.46.
Men's Field Athlete of the Week:
Aron Kurzinski, Seton Hill, So. for the third straight week earned the WVIAC Field Athlete of Week with his performance at Robert Morris this past weekend. Kurzinski finished first in both the Long Jump and Triple Jump with distances of 6.89m (27’7.5”) and 14.10m (46’3.5”), respectively.
