WV Wesleyan Enters D-II Softball Top 25 At No. 19

(STARKVILLE, MS)---West Virginia Wesleyan makes their first appearance of the season in the National Fastpitch Coaches Association Division II Top 25 after the Bobcats compiled an impressive 8-2 record during their spring trip to Florida last week.
The Bobcats, which finished last season as Division II's 17th ranked squad, enter this week's poll at No. 19. The 11-5 Bobcats host Mercyhurst on Sunday in a key Atlantic Region doubleheader.
Unbeaten North Georgia received all 16 first-place votes to remain atop the Top 25 for a second straight week.
The NFCA Division II Top 25 is voted upon by 16 NCAA Division II head coaches, two representing each of the eight NCAA regions. The next NFCA Division II Top 25 poll will be released Wednesday, March 17.
