Division II Bulletin Names Eargle, Jones To H-M All-American Squad

West Virginia State's Darren Jones was named as an honorable mention All-American by D-II Bulletin after leading the Jackets to a 29-4 record.
(BEAVERTON, OR)---Alderson-Broaddus' Terrell Eargle and West Virginia State's Darren Jones have been named honorable mention All-Americans by Division II Bulletin magazine.
Eargle (6-4, Sr., G, Youngstown, OH) is one of the WVIAC's most versatile players in recent seasons and earned the league's Player of the Year accolades. The senior scored 15.2 points per game while leading the league in rebounding (10.9 rpg) and steals (3.2). The Battlers reached the NCAA Tournament during all four seasons of Eargle's career and compiled a 24-7 mark in 2009-10.
Jones (5-9, Sr., G, Cleveland, OH) helped West Virginia State to a 29-4 record and the WVIAC Tournament title. The senior guard tallied 20.6 points per game to rank second in the league. He also stood among the WVIAC's leaders in assists with 5.5 per outing. State won 53 contests during Jones' two-year stay in Institute.
Both players were also named earlier this month to the NABC and Daktronics All-Atlantic Region squads.
