(SLIPPERY ROCK, PA)---No. 4 West Virginia State is the highest ranked of four WVIAC baseball squads in the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association's Division II Atlantic Region Top Ten poll.
The Jackets swept a four-game series from Salem International over the weekend to move up one spot. Shepherd, which claimed all three games of series with Davis & Elkins last week, is seventh. Concord is eighth and Davis & Elkins drops to ninth.
Pitt Johnstown, Seton Hill, and West Virginia Wesleyan rank among schools receiving votes. West Chester (PA) is the top ranked squad in this week's regional poll.
