Basketball Times Tabs Eargle For Third Team All-American Squad

Third-team All-American Terrell Eagle blocks a shot versus Glenville State from earlier this season.

(PINEHURST, NC)---Alderson-Broaddus senior guard Terrell Eargle has been selected as a third team Division II All-American by Basketball Times. 

Eargle earned the 2009-10 WVIAC Player of the Year award after scoring 15.2 points per game and leading the league in rebounding (10.9 rpg) and steals (3.2).  The Battlers reached the NCAA Tournament during all four seasons of Eargle's career and compiled a 24-7 mark in 2009-10.

The Youngstown, OH native was a first team All-WVIAC selection during his sophomore and senior campaigns.  Eargle's 322 career steals rank 18th all-time in the NCAA Division II record book.  The 2009-10 all-region pick also went over the 1,000 mark in points (1602) and rebounds (1047) during his standout Battler career.
