#5 WVWC, #6 SU, #8 FSU Own Spots In 4/7 D-II Softball Regional Rankings

(INDIANAPOLIS)---The NCAA Division II Softball Committee has released their second Division II Atlantic Region rankings of the season. Three WVIAC squads are ranked among the top nine, paced by No. 5 West Virginia Wesleyan. Shepherd is ranked sixth and Fairmont State enters at eighth. West Virginia State, which was ranked ninth last week, falls out of the regional rankings
The complete Atlantic Region rankings follow with overall Division II and Division II in-region records as of April 5.

7. California, PA (18-9 D-II, 18-6 in-region)
8. Fairmont State (13-13 D-II, 12-8 in-region)
