Wheeling Jesuit's Jenna Pew is the first WVIAC Volleyball Player of the Week for 2010 after hitting .366 in a 3-1 week for her team.
WVIAC Volleyball Player of the Week:
---Jenna Pew, Wheeling Jesuit, 6-0, Fr., MB, Marshallville, OH: Pew helped Wheeling Jesuit win three of four matches at the St. Mary's Invitational with 36 kills, 26 digs, 10 blocks, and 6 aces...The former Smithville (OH) High School standout had a high total of 13 kills in a victory against the host squad and ended with the week with a .366 hitting percentage.
Other nominees: West Virginia Wesleyan's Hayley Barhorst (8.0 assists/g in 2-2 week), Fairmont State's Haley Lippert (53 kills, 27 digs, .246 hitting % in 3-1 week).
